Sugar Smackdown 21 Day Sugar Detox Day 1

Happy Sugar Smackdown time!

This time I’m taking a global group of people through the Smackdown. I’m “taking one for the team!” and doing the 21 day sugar detox with them.

I’ve also decided to blog my meals.

Day One Sugar Smackdown

Breakfast:
steal cut oats, walnuts, 1/4 green tipped banana, butter
1 hard boiled egg

Lunch:
smoked pork and mixed veggies: carrots, broccoli, green peppers, mushrooms, buttered, salt n pepper to taste

Snack: handful of walnuts

Dinner:
chicken fajitas (homemade) chicken with green and red peppers, mushrooms, cayenne pepper, salt n pepper to taste.
side of guacamole

    I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Sugar Smackdown!

    I just learned about it this morning and so I’m a day behind. BUT I’m in it with you!

    Sugar is really an awful toxin to our bodies, and consuming it causes inflammation on a cellular level that leads to all sorts of chronic illness and disease. I already limit it in it’s refined form, now time to go radical on the sugar.
