Okay. I’m a terrible blogger. I’ve never been good at daily blogging. Please accept my apologies and know that my meals the last 4 days have gone like this: protein and vegetables. I took out most dairy (everything but a small amount of butter) on day 2 and have felt my energy really skyrocket. And the last couple of days I’ve been adding in a green smoothy with my lunch. Handful of kale
Handful of spinach
1/2 green apple
1/2 green-tipped banana
2 stalks of celery
1 inch of chopped fresh ginger
coconut milk and water added to veggies to make the smoothy less chunky.
The smoothy is super refreshing vitality increasing tonic and I really feel like I’m doing something super good for my cells by drinking it. I do not drink it alone though as it’s almost all carbohydrate. I always drink it with a meal so protein and fats are property added to the mix too.
2 eggs scrambled with mushrooms, spinach and bacon
small serving of cooked steal cut oats with a few walnuts 1/2 green tipped banana and coconut milk.
1 chicken thigh with steamed spinach and small serving of quinoa.
Two chicken thighs with steamed broccoli.
